I’ve spent the last three years building and shaping YML’s brand, focused on amplifying what differentiates YML through a strategic blend of original content, partnerships, awards, PR and events. What I discovered: Many of YML’s competitors are essentially the digital side of Madison Avenue. They will sell clients with a fancy deck, front-load research and strategy, and then six to 12 months later comes ‘the work.’ YML is the Silicon Valley, outcome-driven, digital product company balancing and blending sexy design with cutting-edge technology; all while, critically, driving business impact. The impact of fine-tuning and marketing that message has been undeniable: since joining YML in 2019 the company has grown revenue by 190%, the team by 175%, and were recently named Ad Age’s 2022 Customer Experience Agency of the Year, along with 20+ industry awards for clients from Fast Company, Ad Age, Webbys and more.
